Newton's laws! (:

Newton has three laws.
The first law is an object at rest will remain at rest, and an object in motion will remain in motion, unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Newton's second law is acceleration is produced when a force acts upon an object/mass.
Newton's third law is for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction.

1)A car parked will remain at rest, until started.A plane in motion will remain in motion until landed.A boat at rest will remain so until driven.

2)A race car can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour.A roller coaster can accelerate when started.

3)When you kick a ball on a wall it comes back to you. When you lay with a yo-yo the string comes back up.

The difference between displacement and distance!

Distance is the amount of space between things, you can measure the distance,to find out how far it is,is the distance. Displacement, however is the change in position of an object. It is measured by the system of rest it is at during the final position. Distance would be how far the object is going, displacement is the object and the position of the object.
